FaZe are moving on from broky after a poor season

Breaking: FaZe bench broky

The struggling AWPer has been benched for a second time.

FaZe have announced the benching of Helvijs "broky" Saukants, seeing the struggling AWPer back on the bench amidst rumors that FaZe are interested in Gentle Mates' Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez. broky had previously been benched on FaZe in 2025 for a period of two months, missing out on the BLAST.tv Austin Major before returning to the squad for the StarLadder Budapest Major.

broky's return to the bench follows an extended slump in form for the 25-year-old Latvian, with him sitting at a 0.98 rating over 84 maps this year against all opponents, while that number falls to a 0.94 rating over 68 maps against Top 30 opposition. broky's lackluster form played a significant role in FaZe missing out on the recent IEM Cologne 2026 Major, marking the first time the American organization missed a Major in a number of years.

FaZe will now have the dual challenge of finding a new AWPer and a replacement for Finn "karrigan" Andersen ahead of the start of the second half of 2026, with FaZe having limited time as they head to XSE Pro League 2026 on July 1st.

FaZe are currently:

  • Canada Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken

  • David "frozen" Čerňanský

  • Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski

  • Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn (Coach)

  • Helvijs "broky" Saukants (Inactive)
