FaZe eliminated from EPL in never-ending slump
Yet again, FaZe have been eliminated far away from first place or even top four in an event this year. The drought began with a 17th-32nd finish in the BLAST Bounty Winter Closed Qualifier, continued amidst unimpressive exits from IEM Krakow and PGL Cluj-Napoca, and is now exacerbated by a 1-3 elimination from ESL Pro League Season 23.

FaZe's sole victory in the event came against #16 Monte. They will now attend BLAST Open Rotterdam in hopes of qualifying to IEM Cologne, but nothing is guaranteed.
The team is 11-19 in map count this year, and only David "frozen" Čerňanský is truly delivering in the stats department with a 1.10 rating. Over their 10 maps in ESL Pro League, every player outside of frozen (who posted a 1.20 rating) finished with a rating below 1.00.
According to a recent post by VRS enthusiast Mischief, FaZe now have only a 43% chance of qualifying to the Cologne Major.
