Marsborne claim spot in Brazilian LAN FERJEE In House as team closes in on Cologne Major spot

Brazilian tournament organizer Federação de Esports (FERJEE) have revealed that Marsborne have claimed a spot in their sold out FERJEE in House LAN following Vasco withdrawing from the event and Fluxo W7M declining to claim the spot as a replacement team. As such, Marsborne are set to head to their third Brazilian LAN of 2026 coming off the back of a stellar second-place finish in Circuit X Pantanal Cuiabá last weekend.

Marsborne's decision to head back to Brazil comes as Marsborne are one of a handful of Americas teams sitting on the edge of an invite to the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, with Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk and co. likely favoring their chances in Rio de Janeiro after such a great performance in Cuiabá.

Importantly, the decision to fly down to Rio de Janeiro will see Marsborne have to withdraw from FRAG York due to the scheduling conflict between the two events. The decision was likely influenced by FERJEE in House boasting a far larger prizepool and more relevant teams, forcing Marsborne to prioritize the international offering in a saturated circuit.
