Former NAVI coach kane claims Astralis are going international
Former NAVI coach and current Inner Circle assistant coach Mykhailo "kane" Blahin has claimed on Telegram that Astralis are planning on transitioning into an international roster. The claim from the Ukrainian insider would see Astralis break with tradition and hire the first non-Danish players in the organization's history, with the team only using international talent for two events back in 2017 when Nicolai "device" Reedtz was on medical leave.

The claim from kane comes as Astralis are reportedly set to lose device to 100 Thieves while Emil "Magisk" Reif will be leaving the team, with the former player reportedly set to reunite with Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander on 100 Thieves.
Overall, Astralis are in quite the odd position as of late, with Astralis CEO Jonas Gundersen claiming that employees and players had gone unpaid at the start of the month. These payment issues come after Astralis were acquired by investor group Fusion Esports at the start of September.
In further news for Astralis, Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov previously claimed BC.Game attempted to acquire the organization's core, although this reportedly fell through.
With all of this going, perhaps Astralis think it is time for drastic change with it worth being pointed out that both Victor "Staehr" Staehr and Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen have played for international lineups while Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard also clearly speaks English. With that in mind, perhaps we'll see Denmark's most popular team shift away from their home region.
