Akimbo part ways with lineup as team seeks new home for 2026

Akimbo's roster will be looking for a new home.

On December 19th, Akimbo's lineup announced their departure from the organization following the expiration of their contracts with the organization. The team heads into free agency five months after Daniel Gustaferri and Mitch MacInnis were acquired from Plasma, while the remaining players joined in September amidst roster changes.

According to Joshua "LittleBEER" Stuckley, the team are set to search for a new home as Akimbo were unable to re-sign the squad due to outside factors affecting the organization's owner. The team ended their time with the organization by winning ESEA Open10 Season 55 while also attending the Dust2.us Eagle Masters #5. There the team posted a 1-3 record with their sole win being an upset victory over SkinRave in Round One.

With the team assembling a new core in September they are still unranked and chasing a VRS rank as they still need to play one more Ranked match. The team set to play as "Beyond Cooked" while searching for a new organization to call hone.

Beyond Cooked are now:

  • United States Daniel "roca" Gustaferri

  • Canada Mitch "glorinsz" MacInnis

  • United States Joshua "LittleBEER" Stuckley

  • United States Tripp "tripp" Crowley

  • United States Justin "FRIZZY" Gillis
