"Absolutely disappointing": EliGE addresses Liquid fans after 0-3 result

Liquid's luck has run out at the StarLadder Budapest Major, falling to Passion UA in the 0-2 pool of Stage 3.

Despite recovering from an 0-2 start in the previous stage, Liquid couldn't make magic happen twice, and the returning Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski knows that the slow starts hurt them.

"Absolutely disappointing," EliGE wrote on X. "We played really poorly and not as a unit yesterday or today. Major pressure playing a big part but should have still showed a better performance to that. Apologies to the fans. Next year we need to be much better and we will especially with more time."

Overall, Liquid finished with a 6-7 map record, having lost all four of their best-of-ones and all four of their maps played in Stage 3. Statistically, the trio of EliGE, Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak, and Guy "NertZ" Iluz each averaged a 1.05 player rating, while Keith "NAF" Markovic averaged a 1.08 with a perfect 0 K/D differential. Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek continues to struggle statistically, posting a 0.80 player rating, below his average for 2025.
