Two M80 players to feature in IEM Major Cologne showmatch

The teams that will participate in the showmatch in the run-up to the IEM Cologne Major Final on June 21st, 2026 have been announced. It will be a matchup of German and Polish players, with M80's IGL Elias "s1n" Stein and AWPer Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich named on Team Germany.

s1n and slaxz-'s M80 were eliminated in Stage Two of the Major, falling short of the fan-attended third Swiss stage and the playoffs in the LANXESS.

The showmatch will give the German fans a home team to cheer for, albeit only for one match, as there won't be any German players or orgs competing in the playoffs at the IEM Cologne Major.
