Striker says FaZe are making changes, but broky may stay
Despite some modest results at the end of the season, FaZe's Counter-Strike squad is arguably the worst it has ever been in the organization's history. Discussions of how to fix the team have been pervasive around the community, and it was a prominent topic at HLTV Confirmed's recent live show in Cologne.
During the conversation, host Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill asked HLTV's Editor-in-Chief Milan "Striker" Švejda if FaZe are making changes. Striker then shared what he has heard regarding the roster:
Yeah, 100%. We know Neityu was only there for the rest of the season anyway; I don't think he's gonna stay past this. He was just there always to fill in the gap, and then they will see what happens after that.
I don't know for sure, but I think jcobbb is out as well.
SPUNJ followed up by asking if that means FaZe are keeping broky, presumably to maintain a VRS core. Striker smiled and shrugged, seemingly implying they were keeping him despite his recent performances.
Rifler Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski and stand-in Ryan "Neityu" Aubry have certainly not been stand-out performers, but AWPer Helvijs "broky" Saukants has looked dismal. Throughout 2026, his average rating against top-20 opposition is 0.91, a number that would raise alarms for even the most sacrificial of IGL, let alone an AWPer.
FaZe are clearly in need of significant changes after the catastrophe of missing the IEM Cologne Major, so any changes will likely be welcomed with open arms by the community. However, keeping broky, their second-oldest and arguably worst player, would be a surprising decision to say the least.
