May filing reveals Passion UA owner Oleksandr Zinchenko gave up significant control of org in May 2025

Zinchenko gave up beneficial ownership of the org is May 2025.

Per a May 18th, 2026 electronic filing with the United Kingdom's Companies House database, it has been revealed that Passion UA owner and AFC Ajax player Oleksandr Zinchenko has not held significant control in Passion UA LTD. since May 10th, 2025, while a separate filing also shows that CEO Artemijs Rjabovs now holds a 75% stake in the organization.

As defined by the British government, a "person with significant control" (PSC) "is someone who owns or controls your company. They’re sometimes called 'beneficial owners.'"

The change, which to reiterate took place over a year, could suggest that Zinchenko has taken more of a back seat role in the organization while handing effective control over to CEO Rjabovs. The change in ownership came in advance of Passion UA's decision to acquire Complexity's core in August 2025, moving away from hosting a Ukrainian lineup to an international squad.

Despite no longer holding a significant stake in Passion UA, Zinchenko has still been involved with the team, even being registered as a sub for the team for IEM Atlanta last month.

Passion UA has been in the news in recent weeks as HLTV previously reported the organization are sounding out offers for the team while it was reported yesterday that Imperial are seeking to reclaim Santino "try" Rigal due to alleged financial breaches in his sale.
