Liquid will look to get back on the horse in Stockholm

Liquid sign up for $60,000 Stake Pulse Beat I

Stake Pulse Beat I should be Liquid's first LAN of the new season.

Earlier today, Liquid signed up for Stake Pulse Beat I, a $60,000 open LAN tournament set to take place in Stockholm from July 31st to August 5th. The event will be the third such open LAN tournament Liquid has attended this year, as the lineup looks to acquire much-needed VRS points and a serious confidence boost after a difficult season that recently concluded with Liquid exiting the IEM Cologne Major 2026 in Stage One.

Currently Liquid are the highest-ranked team confirmed for the sixteen-team LAN, with Liquid ranked 38th on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), while Bulgarian squad Acend are ranked 57th and Metizport are ranked 68th in the world.

The event should be Liquid's first LAN event post-player break, however they may run into a scheduling conflict should they advance out of the BLAST Bounty Summer Qualifier, as the main event in Malta runs from July 30th to August 2nd. Should Liquid claim out of eight available spots in the BLAST LAN, they are expected to drop out of Stake Pulse Beat I, with their spot going to a wait-listed team.

Currently two more spots are available via open registration and two more spots will be claimed via an open qualifier.

The team list for Stake Pulse Beat I currently consists of:

6666
9INE
Acend
atputies
Betclic Apogee
BRUTE

Fnatic
G2 Ares
Sweden Lilmix
Liquid
Metizport
Sweden XCLAN
