Passion UA fight hard but lose to Falcons in BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2
Passion UA fell to Falcons today at BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 after a hard-fought series. Michael "Grim" Wince could have won at least one map and forced a decider, but it wasn't meant to be.
The loss means that Passion UA will have to play the quarterfinals against paiN tomorrow, at 03:00AM. Falcons, on the other hand, topped group A and advanced straight to the semifinals.
Passion UA played well on Train's T-side, securing six rounds. However, Falcons enjoyed a better start on their T-side (6-1) and found themselves in map-point territory fast. Passion UA showed battled to force overtime, but Falcons eventually closed it out.
The series headed to Mirage, Falcons' pick, and they dominated the game in the second half, off the back of an impressive display on the CT side. Passion UA simply couldn't cope with Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač finding kills left and right, and saw them run away with the game.

The BLAST Rivals 2025 S2 playoffs start tomorrow with Passion UA vs. paiN at 03:00AM, followed by Spirit vs. Vitality at 05:30AM. Should Passion UA win, they'll face FURIA on Saturday in the semifinals.
