Outfit 49 promote further changes with brett addition

Hopefully these will be the final roster changes for the immediate future.

On October 19th, Outfit 49 announced the departure of Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes from their roster while adding former LAG IGL Brett "brett" Rhein to the team's ranks. Beyond that, Outfit 49 confirmed to Dust2.us's Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore in a reply on X that Ian "zeep" Lineaweaver has also stepped down from the team while substitute William "aelor" Africano will be joining the starting lineup in his place.

These changes come just days after the most recent wave of roster changes in Outfit 49, which saw the Canadian organization pick up Lucas "LUKE4k" Mizumoto, Lucas "LUKE4k" Mizumoto, and aelor on October 13th.

According to Outfit 49 head coach Erich "ninja" Beyer, the team decided to part ways with KmZ on a mutual basis amidst feelings they would have a stronger future with brett on the lineup while zeep had to unfortunately step down due to work commitments.

The sudden changes in Outfit 49's ranks put the team in a somewhat awkward situation as they have replaced their VRS core amidst the team's battle to secure a rank in the Americas VRS. However, Outfit 49 confirmed that zeep and Volodymyr "bezymecc" Slobodian will continue playing for the team until they stabilize their core.

Outfit 49 are now:

  • United States Josh "sava9e" Lundquist

  • United States Lucas "LUKE4k" Mizumoto

  • United States Jason "s3rum" Zheng

  • United States William "aelor" Africano

  • United States Brett "brett" Rhein

  • United States Erich "ninja" Beyer (Coach)

Outfit 49's next outing will be in Round Three of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4, with matchups set to be announced following the conclusion of Round Two tonight.
