The Polish coach is free to join another project

vinS leaves Wildcard: "My vision with stanislaw and the organization's has become completely different"

The Pole helped Wildcard qualify for two Majors.

Vincent "vinS" Jozefiak and Wildcard have parted ways, the organization and the coach announced today, October 20th.

The Pole released a personal statement, in which he said that both parties agreed to an early termination of his contract. vinS also commented that he had a different vision for the project.

My vision with stanislaw and the organization's has become completely different. But even though I am someone who does not mince words when it comes to the organization, I believe that what happened in the locker room should stay in the locker room.

Thank you for this time, Wildcard, and good luck with your vision with the team. I would like to add that I am proud that under our leadership, Wildcard participated in two Majors in a row and made its first appearance on the CS2 scene.

vinS' departure comes two weeks after Wildcard missed on qualifying for the StarLadder Budapest Major, after finishing 5th-8th in Fragadelphia Blocktober.

The Polish skipper had been a part of Wildcard since July 2024 and notably helped Wildcard qualify for back-to-back Majors in the form of Perfect World Shanghai and BLAST.tv Austin.

But Wildcard deteriorated quickly after the Austin Major, especially because the organization made radical changes to its CS2 team that were hard to explain. Management, for example, benched Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and Love "phzy" Smidebrant, arguably the two most important players on the roster, just to bring them back later after the results took a turn for the worse.

In an iconic interview with Dust2.us at Fragville, phzy mentioned that Wildcard's management used ChatGPT to get some roster move ideas.

Now that vinS is free to join another team, he revealed that he's open to coaching in any region, and that he truly believes that he can take another team to the Major.

I don't need a break — I feel a huge sense of unfinished business and an even bigger drive to prove what I can do. I truly believe I can build another Major team.

I'm open to working in any CS region — Europe, Americas, or Asia — I also see myself creating a new project on the North American scene, while making no secret that, in such a case, if that would be possible, I would want to lead this project with stanislaw as a captain.

I really liked this scene, I've met some great people, and I know that we can repeat the success of our first lineup, and even surpass it. All we need is trust.

I'm also open to joining the coaching staff of an already established team, in the role of an assistant coach.

Prior to vinS' departure, Wildcard purchased back Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa's shares. You can read this news and vinS' statement in full below.
