Outfit 49 unveil overhauled roster featuring American core
On September 6th, Canadian esports organization Outfit 49 unveiled their overhauled Counter-Strike 2 roster ahead of the start of the second ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup. The organization's new roster is a vastly retooled lineup from the one they signed in April, with only Volodymyr "bezymecc" Slobodian and Nazar "H0NeST" Stefinko being retained from that period.
Notably, the roster is now majority American with the additions of Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes, Josh "sava9e" Lundquist, and Ian "zeep" Lineaweaver while Erich "ninja" Beyer has also joined as coach.
With the team being majority American they are now able to secure invites to events in the region, something that should prove invaluable as the team have largely been confirmed to Unranked events like ESEA Advanced.
The incoming trio join Outfit 49 after playing for a number of teams in recent months. KmZ previously played for the likes of Plasma and Wanted Goons while sava9e, zeep, and ninja all previously rubbed shoulders on Blahaj.
Outfit 49 are now:
-
Volodymyr "bezymecc" Slobodian -
Nazar "H0NeST" Stefinko -
Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes -
Josh "sava9e" Lundquist -
Ian "zeep" Lineaweaver -
Erich "ninja" Beyer (Coach)
Outfit 49 will face off against Aether tonight in the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup 2 lower bracket at 09:00PM.
