Outfit 49 bring in new duo as roster goes all-American

Outfit 49 have enlisted former Zomblers duo LUKE4k and s3rum.

Outfit 49 have unveiled two new additions to their lineup today, picking up Lucas "LUKE4k" Mizumoto and Jason "s3rum" Zheng to replace Nazar "H0NeST" Stefinko, who recently joined Phoenix, and Volodymyr "bezymecc" Slobodian who has exited the team. The duo join Outfit 49 after recently playing for Zomblers, notably claiming second place at Clutch or Kick: San Antonio in August.

Along with the incoming duo, Outfit 49 have also brought in William "aelor" Africano as a substitute, with the former Villainous player set to fill in for Ian "zeep" Lineaweaver in ESEA Advanced Season 55 due to work commitments, Outfit 49 coach Erich "ninja" Beyer told Dust2.us

The changes see Outfit 49 embracing an all-American lineup after initially entering CS2 with the Ukrainian-majority Immigrants Peek squad.

The roster changes in Outfit 49 come after the team finished ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup #2 in 9th-12th place, securing a win over Aether before being eliminated after a loss to Marsborne and a rematch defeat to Aether.

Outfit 49 are now:

  • United States Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes

  • United States Josh "sava9e" Lundquist

  • United States Ian "zeep" Lineaweaver

  • United States Lucas "LUKE4k" Mizumoto

  • United States Jason "s3rum" Zheng

  • United States Erich "ninja" Beyer (Coach)

  • United States William "aelor" Africano (Substitute)

Outfit 49's lineup debuted today in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4, falling to LAG in a lopsided 2-0 loss despite a strong showing from LUKE4k. The team will be back in action tomorrow against Wanted Goons in ESEA Advanced Season 55.
