The Canadian duo played a crucial part in Liquid's victory

Twistzz and NAF power Liquid into FISSURE Playground 2 semifinals over Aurora

The NA part of Liquid carried them today.

Liquid's Canadian duo, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Keith "NAF" Markovic, put on a masterclass in Serbian soil to fuel Liquid past Aurora in the FISSURE Playground 2 quarterfinals this Friday, September 19th.

On top of this, Liquid earned 75 Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points and climbed up to 15th in the Global VRS.

The series kicked off on Mirage, which Liquid picked, and they truly only won it because of Twistzz's impact. The Canadian led the charges on both sides of the game, winning rounds for Liquid on T-side and CT-side.

He finished Mirage with 27 kills in total, a 2.23 rating, 137.1 ADR, and a monstrous +10.46% Round Swing.

As for Inferno, NAF helped to keep Liquid alive in the first half, with decisive kills on the A-site defense. And, in the second half, NAF found a crucial triple in an eco round that crushed Aurora's economy and morale.

NAF finished Inferno with 22 kills, 109.2 ADR, and a +9.48% Round Swing.
