Is a reunion with karrigan on the cards?

Breaking: FaZe announce the return of Twistzz

We don't yet know who he will be replacing.

In an another breaking announcement involving Canadian star Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, FaZe Clan have announced that he is set to return to their ranks following the conclusion of FISSURE Playground #2, seeing Twistzz return to the European lineup where he claimed a Major trophy in 2022 and competed from 2021 to 2023.

FaZe have yet to announce who Twistzz will be replacing, but they did confirm that he will debut for the squad at ESL Pro League Season 23, which is set to start on September 27th.

Twistzz's first tenure with FaZe was a formative period for the Canadian star, seeing him link up with Finn "karrigan" Andersen before going on to take a number of significant trophies including the aforementioned PGL Major Antwerp 2022, IEM Katowice 2022, IEM Cologne 2022, and the Intel Grand Slam Season 4.

His return to FaZe suggest an aim to return to those glory days as it has been more than a year since the struggling FaZe lineup have secured a trophy. However, it remains to be seen whether Twistzz could do the impossible and take over IGL duties from karrigan or take a rifling position from one of Håvard "rain" Nygaard, David "frozen" Čerňanský, or Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski, although the latter is the least likely as he joined mere weeks ago.
