The first period of Twistzz's second stay with Liquid say the top Canadian rifler play under Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Wilton "zews" Prado before a string of poor results saw Twistzz take over the mantle of IGL in July 2024 in an attempt to lift Liquid out of a six-year title drought.
However, despite some strong results including a top-eight finish at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 results continued to be elusive for Twistzz and co. ultimately leading to a pivot to Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek in early 2025. With the team failing to notch a top-eight finish at the BLAST.tv Austin Major and now seemingly set to miss the StarLadder Budapest Major, it has set the stage for Liquid to sell Twistzz and clear the board ahead of a possible post-Major rebuild.
Now all that remains to be seen is where Twistzz will embark to, with the Canadian likely to be announced before Major invites going out on October 6th.
After FISSURE Playground #2, Liquid will consist of:
-
Keith "NAF" Markovic -
Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak -
Guy "NertZ" Iluz -
Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek -
Viktor "flashie" Tamás Bea (Coach)
Twistzz will make one of his final appearances with Liquid tomorrow when the team take on GamerLegion in FISSURE Playground #2.
