Three spots to go on sale for Fragadelphia Blocktober as Passion UA, NRG drop out of event

Fragadelphia have announced today that three spots are set to go on sale for the sold out Fragadelphia Blocktober event tomorrow due to three teams dropping out of the event. Dust2.us understands that the three teams to drop out of the event were Passion UA, NRG, and Swedish squad EYEBALLERS.

Passion UA are likely to have exited the event due to visa issues surrounding Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli while Ukrainian player Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol would likely have trouble getting a visa during the war. Additionally, the team are set to play a LAN in Latvia two days before Blocktober, making it a logistical headache to cross the Atlantic Ocean on such short notice. As for NRG, they confirmed their exit from the event to prioritize ESL Pro League Season 22.

As for EYEBALLERS, the Swedes likely pulled out due to having a 0.02% chance of making the StarLadder Budapest Major.

With more tickets going on sale this will present a prime opportunity for squads on the cusp of qualifying all around the world to play the final LAN event before the cutoff date of the Major.

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 05:00PM so be ready on FRAG's website as tickets are likely to sell out in less than a minute.
