jchancE admits to "drinking too much and putting my hands on the women" as teammates deny cover up attempt during Fragville
On September 8th Chicken Coop announced the shock dismissal of their Counter-Strike 2 roster following one of their players engaging in a "physical altercation" during the weekend of Fragadelphia Fragville.
At the time of the announcement, details were scarce regarding the exact nature of the incident, however a series of posts and comments made to Dust2.us from eyewitnesses allege Chicken Coop player Caleb "jchancE" Davis engaged in physically and verbally inappropriate behavior at a bar in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Per her statement, sav claimed that Davis made a number of inappropriate comments allegedly directed towards women at the bar before allegedly attempting to "force his way home with someone who had just told him no." According to Sav this was rebuked by the woman, forcing sav to attempt to intervene, leading to a physical scuffle that resulted in sav being shoved while the other woman was knocked to the ground.
The next morning, sav alleges that multiple members of the former Chicken Coop roster including Josh "mds" Marin approached her and "not to simply check if we were okay, but to pressure us into staying silent. They minimized what happened, blamed alcohol/what jchance has 'been going through' and asked what it would take to not speak out."

On September 9th, Dust2.us was able to speak to the victim of the alleged physical altercation and inappropriate behavior. On the condition of anonymity she told the publication that Davis had made a number of vulgar comments throughout the night and allegedly grabbed her arm and shoulder and waist after she told him multiple times to stop.
After the bar closed, she alleges that Davis wanted to join her at a third party's Airbnb to hang out, and after Sav intervened to get him to leave her alone he shoved Sav and knocked her over as well.
When we were all leaving he was stumbling everywhere which pushed me into a table. I had plans to go with friends to their Airbnb and he was frantically asking where that was and such. Sav went to ask if I was okay and he shoved her out of the way to keep asking where I was going.
The following morning, she claims that former Chicken Coop player Josh "mds" Marin came to her asking her not to post anything, allegedly to protect his teammate.

Everything that sav said on Twitter is accurate, and I think it’s best to just add some more context around the actual "event."
We were all outside as a group, around 20-30 people that were here for Frag. I was talking to some people a few feet away from the altercation. I heard some shouting and shortly after Jchance ran into me while trying to escape from everyone. Although I didn’t directly see what happened, everyone had the same story when I asked why he ran into me. At that time I made the original tweet that I ended up deleting, I explained why in my quote tweet of Sav’s tweet, which was Fuck @Jchance.
While I was in my hotel one of his teammates dmd me and asked me to delete my tweets “on a personal level.” I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I left them up for a few hours but I decided ultimately I’d let someone who was directly involved speak on it, so I could back them up rather than tweeting a messy story on Twitter with little context.
Along with his statement, Austin shared the following screenshot, which he alleges shows Alexander "REKMEISTER" Flynn requesting Austin delete his original X post about the incident:

Another source that spoke to Dust2.us on the condition of anonymity told the publication they saw Davis, Flynn, and Marin in attendance at the bar the night of the incident. There the individual claims that Davis made a number of inappropriate comments about women prior to the bar closing. The source says that after the bar closed she saw the alleged physical altercation described by Sav, adding that she then saw Davis flee the scene allegedly injuring himself in the process.
The individual agreed with previous statements about an alleged attempt to cover up the incident, stating they heard Davis, Flynn, and Marin approached Sav and the other women to ask them not to speak on the incident.
In the days following this alleged incident, a number of ex-Chicken Coop players have come forward to offer their side of the story. On September 9th, Sebastian "cbass" Alday released a statement disavowing his former teammates after they tried to convince him to stand with Davis after the incident while also affirming his support for the victims. Importantly, multiple sources have confirmed to Dust2.us that Alday was not present at the bar the night of the incident.
This was followed by a statement by Marin who described Davis' behavior as "foul behavior that should never be tolerated" while alleging he told him as much privately. However, Marin disputes claims that he and his teammates attempted to cover up the incident, instead claiming that he was simply trying to support his teammate while apologizing if he appeared "confrontational."
The final statement at the time of publication came from Davis himself, apologizing for the whole incident while admitting to "drinking too much and putting my hands on the women and other people involved," while claiming he will try to change his lifestyle in the future.
Overall, with jchancE and his teammates effectively admitting to the incident it will effectively mark the end of their careers for the immediate future, although that consideration is meaningless compared to the physical assault the victims went through as the world of NA esports has once again ventured into dark and disturbing territory.
