NRG win FRAG St. Clair
NRG have won a fifth FRAG title after defeating SportsBetExpert 3-1. Their playoff run consisted of wins over Eh and NuTorious, in which coach and stand-in Damian "daps" Steele posted 1.06 and 1.17 ratings during new AWPer Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli's absence.
The championship series started off close, with NRG only winning Dust2 in overtime. SportsBetExpert then stole NRG's map pick of Mirage 13-9, but their opponents immediately rebounded with a 13-2 clobbering on Inferno. Up 2-1, NRG closed the series with a 13-6 victory on recently reinstated map Cache.

Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek dominated with 89 frags and a 1.64 rating, while Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott posted a 47-51 stat line and 1.02 rating in his first grand final since returning to NRG. The rifling duo of Sonic and Michael "Grim" Wince led the event overall with 1.64 and 1.32 respective ratings over eight maps.
The team gained 121 points from their successful LAN outing, jumping to #46 in the VRS standings. Though they've yet to overtake Liquid in the standings, NRG have gotten off to a promising start post-Cologne, and will aim to get even stronger once hallzerk joins the lineup.
