Media: GODSENT enter bankruptcy proceedings

GODSENT hosted a Brazilian team that competed in North America in 2021 and 2022.

According to a report by Daniel "Sandstrxm" Sandström of Fragbite.se, Swedish esports organization GODSENT has entered bankruptcy proceedings after being declared bankrupt by a district court in Malmö, Sweden. According to Fragbite, GODSENT had been treading water financially for some time after the organization lost a major sponsor in Spring 2024.

With their financial troubles, GODSENT had reportedly been approached on multiple occasions by the Swedish Enforcement Authority for unpaid debts while multiple players had gone for some time without a salary. GODSENT most recently hosted a Swedish CS2 team in late while a mixteam represented GODSENT during the Svenska Elitserien Spring 2025 in June this year.

This second iteration of GODSENT, launched in 2019, is likely most known to NA fans for its Brazilian roster based in the region from 2021 to mid 2022. This roster featured names such as Epitácio "TACO" de Melo, Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer, and Henrique "HEN1" Teles, and was a top team in the region before being acquired by 00 Nation in mid-2022.

GODSENT have yet to publicly comment on the bankruptcy, but this appears to be the end of the road for the brand originally founded by Markus "pronax" Wallsten in 2016.
