Lotus sign with Legacy Kingdom for ESL Impact League Season 8

ESL Impact League squad Lotus have been signed by Legacy Kingdom, joining their women-focused brand Legacy Queendom under the name Lotus Legacy. The signing comes after Lotus secured one of the final qualifier spots in ESL Impact League Season 8 after besting NYX in the second open qualifier.

The newly-minted Legacy Lotus squad will therefore return to the ESL Impact League after missing out on Season 7. The team previously competed in Season 6 under the Lotus tag, albeit with a vastly different roster. In the final season of 2024, the Lotus squad finished with a 1-6 record where their sole win was against Aware Impact.

Outside of Impact, Lotus recently wrapped up the ESEA Main Season 54 regular season with a 7-7 record, missing out on playoffs as a result.

Also of note, while the announcement listed Ava "estrella" Ubiles as a Lotus Legacy player, the team told Dust2.us that she is their substitute and was not actually signed by Legacy Kingdom.

Legacy Lotus will make their debut in ESL Impact League Season 8 North America when the season kicks off on September 10th.
