Getting Info win Night Shift Invitational 2025 NA

It was an unranked event, but Getting Info earned $10,000.

Getting Info have been crowned champions of Night Shift Invitational 2025 North America this Sunday, August 31st. The $10,000 tournament ran online and featured Chicken Coop, LAG, and BOSS besides Getting Info.

Night Shift Invitational used the traditional single-elimination format, and Getting Info drew Chicken Coop in the semifinals.

A great CT-side paved the way for Getting Info's victory on Train. Getting Info won nearly six rounds in a row in the first half as CTs, and played well enough as Ts to win on Chicken Coop's pick.

In a similar vein, Getting Info only won Ancient because of their CT-side. They did fine as Ts in the first half (5-7), and started playing really well once Chicken Coop found their 11th point. From that point on, they struck six rounds in a row and avoided overtime.

Wyatt "snav" Phillippi led his troops by example and dropped 39 frags in the series, plus a +4.82% Round Swing. Deni "dea" Ediev also played well, as he finished with 37 frags and 93.7 ADR.

Getting Info staged a true comeback to win on BOSS' pick Mirage. They were down 9-3, but recovered in the T-side to secure overtime. The battle went on, and Getting claimed the victory in the second OT.

They moved to Overpass and Getting Info beat BOSS very quickly, thanks to another solid T-side (8-4) and an impeccable CT-side (5-0). Though everybody on Getting Info finished with a positive K/D on the map, Dylan "slump" Naylor was the difference-maker as he single-handedly won some rounds and finished with a +10.12% Round Swing.

Unfortunately, BOSS had to forfeit the rest of the series as a result of Gavin "Fruitcupx" Norman getting DDoSed yet again, and Ben "ben1337" Smith's PC shutting off itself.

This is their best result since dea joined the team once again last month.
