ECSTATIC and former M80 IGL part ways

He most notably helped them to qualify for BLAST Open London.

Former M80 IGL Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen is no longer coaching ECSTATIC. The Danish team and maNkz parted ways following the end of his trial period.

The trial began on July 24th, and maNkz coached ECSTATIC on a handful of events, which were all online. Right off the bat, he helped ECSTATIC to qualify for the BLAST Open London, as they won the RES Showdown Fall tournament over VP.Prodigy.

Despite this good start, ECSTATIC didn't reach the LAN finals of both BLAST Bounty Season 2 and BLAST Open London further on. They also missed out on qualifying for StarSeries Fall 2025.

The decision to part ways was mutual, ECSTATIC said in the announcement on August 31st.

"maNkz’s trial period has come to an end, with both parties mutually agreeing not to continue due to maNkz’s other personal commitments," ECSTATIC said.

It's currently unclear what maNkz will do next, as he just thanked ECSTATIC for their time together.

ECSTATIC now are:

  • Denmark Anton "Anlelele" Huynh

  • Denmark Martin "nut nut" Holm Vestergaard

  • Denmark Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk

  • Denmark William "sirah" Kjærsgaard

  • Denmark Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand

  • Denmark Kristoffer "kristou" Aamand (Inactive)
