glad to see maNkz back in the game

Former M80 IGL returns as coach of ECSTATIC

maNkz has returned to his old organization

Danish organization ECSTATIC has announced the addition of former M80 IGL Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen as the team's coach, with the 27-year-old player joining the organization on trial. The signing sees maNkz return to activity after last playing for M80 in early 2024 before taking an extended break from competition for mental health reasons.

The Dane had been placed on M80's bench and replaced by Elias "s1n" Stein before finally being released in May this year while expressing a desire to transition into coaching.

ECSTATIC was previously maNkz's old stomping ground in the Danish scene, having played for the organization from mid-2021 to mid-2023 before being recruited by M80 as part of their entry into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

ECSTATIC currently sits in 27th place on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), meaning they are in a prime position to climb the rankings should maNkz be able to whip the team into form early into the season.

With maNkz, ECSTATIC consists of:

  • Denmark Kristoffer "kristou" Aamand

  • Denmark Anton "Anlelele" Huynh

  • Denmark Martin "nut nut" Holm Vestergaard

  • Denmark Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk

  • Denmark William "sirah" Kjærsgaard

  • Denmark Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen (Trial Coach)

maNkz's first event with ESCSTATIC will be the BLAST Bounty Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier, which is set to start on August 5th.
