Official: dea returns to Getting Info as dare steps down

dea previously played for Getting Info from March to June.

Wyatt "snav" Phillippi has confirmed to Dust2.us that Deni "dea" Ediev has return to Getting Info's ranks on a permanent basis and is set to replace Derek "dare" Brown within the starting lineup. According to snav, dare is purportedly set to take a break from competition, while dea himself has returned from a brief hiatus after leaving Getting Info back in June.

As previously mentioned, dea is a Getting Info alumnus, having last played for the team in mid-May when the orgless squad counted Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly and Justin "FaNg" Coakley among its ranks. He unceremoniously left the squad and was replaced by Zechrie "XotiC" Elshani on the AWP before XotiC and nosraC were called up by NRG during the summer player break.

It will be interesting to see how roles shake out with dea joining Getting Info as the lineup currently boasts a primary AWPer in the form of Dylan "slump" Naylor. It is likely slump takes on a more hybird role as seen in dea's debut last night when Getting Info claimed a 2-0 win over Wildcard in the NA Revival Series #8.

Getting Info are now:

  • Mexico Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado

  • United States Shane "shane" Dressler

  • United States Wyatt "snav" Phillippi

  • United States Dylan "slump" Naylor

  • Deni "dea" Ediev

  • Canada Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen (Coach)

dea and Getting Info will be back in action today when the team take on NRG in the semifinals of the NA Revival Series #8.
