Liquid beat Imperial to survive at BLAST Open London 2025

Liquid won in a three-map grind v. Imperial to stay alive at BLAST Open London. Despite winning on Imperial's map pick to begin the series, they lost their own pick to force a map three.

Liquid showed grit in the final map to keep their hopes of making the LAN portion in London alive. They will now face the loser of Spirit v. FURIA in the lower semifinals.

Liquid 2-1 Imperial

Imperial picked Dust2, but it was Liquid who looked more comfortable on the map. Liquid were down 4-3, but took the final five rounds of the half to take a solid 8-4 lead. They built on that lead and didn't stumble, taking the first map 13-5.

Liquid chose to play Train, but they fell behind 6-0 to begin the map. They would battle back to bring the score to 6-6 at halftime. Liquid were up 9-7, but Imperial won the next six rounds to steal the map 13-7.

Things looked bleak for Liquid in the deciding map, as they fell behind 8-4 to Imperial after the first half. Liquid's CT half brought them all the way back, though, as they only conceded two rounds in the second half. Liquid won 13-10 to eliminate Imperial and stay alive at BLAST Open London.

Keith "NAF" Markovic had a much-needed strong showing, going 55-38 with a 1.32 rating, to lead the way for Liquid in the match.
