BOSS lose to BLUEJAYS in a DDOS-marred ECL S50 Cup 1 lower final
BLUEJAYS are moving on to the consolidation final of ECL Season 50 Cup 1, where they will face the loser of the upper final between NRG and M80 for a spot in the grand final. BLUEJAYS won the first map of the series 13-11, and BOSS were forced to forfeit the second map due to another DDOS attack, which made them unable to field their roster.
BOSS recently suffered from the same situation in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series, where they had to forfeit due to a DDOS attack while playing v. Marsborne.
BLUEJAYS 2-0 BOSS
The first map showed promise for an enticing series between the two sides. BLUEJAYS chose Dust2, with a back-and-forth first half leading to BLUEJAYS holding onto a 7-5 lead going into the second period. BLUEJAYS went up 11-5, looking primed to secure the win, but BOSS answered back. Six straight round wins from BOSS brought the score to 11-11, but BLUEJAYS quelled the comeback and won the first map 13-11.
As previously mentioned, BOSS were forced to forfeit the second map and are now eliminated from the first Cup of ESL Challenger League Season 50.
The upper final between M80 and NRG is scheduled to go ahead at 09:00PM today.
