Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 Quarterfinals Day 2: Wildcard and Marsborne advance
Wildcard and Marsborne have locked in their spot in the semifinals of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 powered by INUI!
Yesterday, Wildcard defeated ASPYRE 2-0 in the quarterfinals, and Marsborne eliminated Chicken Coop by the same score. Wildcard will now face Getting Info for a spot in the final, while Marsborne await the winner of BOSS v. BLUEJAYS in the last quarterfinal.
Wildcard 2-0 ASPYRE 
ASPYRE chose to begin the series on Inferno, but it was Wildcard who jumped out to a 4-1 lead on the CT side. They improved on that advantage, leading 8-4 at halftime. ASPYRE closed the deficit from 10-4 to 10-7, but that was as close as they would get. Wildcard won the final three rounds to take the first map 13-7
Wildcard chose Overpass, and the first half was a mirror image to that of Inferno's. Wildcare took an 8-4 lead into the second half and didn't look back. ASPYRE managed just one round in the second period, falling by a score of 13-5.
Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz was the highest-rated player in the server with a 1.52 rating, while Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek dropped 43 kills across the two maps.

Marsborne 2-0 Chicken Coop
Chicken Coop had the choice of the first map and went with Train. They may be regretting that, as Marsborne took a decisive 11-1 lead on their CT side. Chicken Coop showed signs of life on defense, but with so little room for error, they eventually lost 13-6.
Marsborne picked Nuke to try to end the series, leading Chicken Coop to start on the favored CT side. Both teams went on runs, but neither could find the advantage at halftime, leaving the score at 6-6. Marsborne showed their class on their CT half, taking seven rounds in a row to defeat and eliminate Chicken Coop 13-6.
Adam "Grizz" Golden and Ian "motm" Hardy led the way for Marsborne, posting better than 1.4 ratings and over 30 kills across both maps.
