Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 Quarterfinals Day 1: Getting Info knock LAG out
Getting Info have become the first team to lock in a spot in the semifinals of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 powered by INUI! The orgless project led by Wyatt "snav" Phillippi had no trouble beating LAG in the quarterfinals last night, August 27th.
Getting Info 2-0 LAG
Getting Info got the pick first, and they chose Ancient. LAG put up a fight in the first round and scored five points on the CT-side, leaving the map wide open for both teams in the second half.
However, Getting Info justified their pick as they displayed a nearly perfect CT-side, and conceded only two rounds to LAG. Dylan "slump" N. played an instrumental role in that second half, having finished with a 10-1 K/D.
The teams moved on to Train, and the map played out in a similar vein to Ancient. LAG won five T-side rounds in the first half, but their defense was very lacking, and they didn't score a single point as CTs.
This disastrous CT-side allowed Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado to drop 10 bodies, plus get a ridiculous +13.28% Round Swing.
Despite slump and MarKE dominating on Ancient and Train, respectively, the Russian Deni "dea" Ediev was Getting Info's best player in the whole series, as the stats below show.
The Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 quarterfinals will carry on tonight with Wildcard vs. ASPYRE at 06:00PM.
