Wildcard left the online tournament with just one win in the bag

HEROIC knock Wildcard out of CCT Global Finals 2025

Wildcard now set their eyes on BLAST Rivals.

Wildcard are out of the CCT Global Finals 2025 after suffering a reverse-sweep to HEROIC in the second round of the lower bracket this Saturday, April 26th.

All in all, it wasn't a good tournament from Wildcard as they suffered an embarrassing defeat to BetBoom in their debut and only defeated 500, a team that got trashed at the European MRQ earlier this month.

This match against HEROIC was looking promising for Wildcard as they started the series ahead after clinching a win on Nuke, the first map of the series, in overtime.

However, HEROIC rapidly tied the series after comfortably beating Wildcard on Dust2 as Álvaro "SunPayus" García popped off.

This forced the teams to move to Anubis, and although Wildcard did a good job on the CT side in the first half, they had an uninspiring T-side in the second half and conceded nearly six rounds in a row at the end of the game, which caused their elimination.
