SoaR move past Mythic
The second match of Group B started with SoaR on the CT side of Cache, where they picked up the first pistol round versus Mythic. SoaR would win the ensuing five rounds after an unsuccessful half-buy and gun round from Mythic yielded no results. Despite some mistakes in the next round, SoaR managed to retake the site, increasing their lead to 7-0. Mythic answered back with four rounds of their own, before getting shut down in the 12th round by three kills from Jack "xCeed" Holiman.
Mythic attempted a late rush onto the B bombsite with two players left but were one second late to the plant, giving up the round to SoaR. After some rounds were traded back and forth, the half would conclude with SoaR leading 10-5 going into the terrorist side.
The second half pistol would be won by Mythic, despite an early five-on-three advantage for SoaR. They would pull off a streak of their own, tying the game at 10-10 before SoaR finally claimed the B bombsite and defended it during the afterplant. The defense would continue to fail, as SoaR found five straight rounds to gain map point. The 26th round was a complete gun round from both teams, however SoaR managed to break the defense yet again, winning Cache 16-10.
