DAVEY and co. eye Fejtz as their permanent fifth player

DAVEY: "We feel way more confident and way more comfortable with fejtZ"

In an interview with Esports Unearthed, DAVEY discussed Splyce and his team's future

With the Minor NA Closed Qualifier beginning soon, David "DAVEY" Stafford talked with Esports Unearthed about his team's former organization, boxr, and his team's roster.

In the interview, DAVEY told Josh "Dweg" Nathan that his team look to keep Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar as their permanent fifth player. However, due to the team's lack of an organization, DAVEY states whether the Estonian player remains on the team is of his volition, however he believes fejtZ wants to stay with the North American team.

Without an organization, DAVEY stated his team is currently playing under the boxr name, whom they have ties with. It's stated the name is not permanent and boxr is only helping the roster until an organization signs the team. DAVEY also states that boxr helped fejtZ fly to North America to play with the team.

DAVEY also discussed issues with Splyce, his team's former organization. The team originally had a list of players they wanted on the team, however DAVEY states the organization did not want to invest the money to obtain the players the team wanted, akin to what Kory "Semphis" Friesen stated in his video on Splyce. As a result, the team had to go with Zack "XotiC" Elshani, who was available due to CLG dropping their academy team.

The Canadian player expands on XotiC's tenure with the team, citing issues with the young player's lack of experience in high-level play, poor communication, and inconsistent decision making. DAVEY later states that the lack of these issues with fejtZ are why the team is keen on keeping the 20-year-old Estonian on their team.

The roles of the boxr players was also a talking point in the interview, with DAVEY explaining about how his teammate's roles have changed over time with new players. When XotiC was on the team, Semphis was the in-game-leader while XotiC used the AWP. With fejtZ, who is a rifler, now on the team, DAVEY is now the in-game-leader with Semphis handling the AWP.
