M80 and Wildcard lock in Thunderpick World Championship 2025 NA Series #2 finals
M80 and Wildcard will play tonight, August 1st, at 07:30PM in the grand finals of Thunderpick World Championship 2025 NA Series #2.
M80 reached the grand finals after beating Getting Info by 2-0 in the semifinals yesterday.
Getting Info put up a fight on Overpass, but M80 prevailed and proceeded to comfortably close out the series on Ancient.

Later, it was time for Wildcard and NRG to grab the other spot in the grand finals of this Thunderpick tournament — and Wildcard successfully reverse-swept NRG to lock in their spot in the finals.
Even though Wildcard lost on Nuke, their map pick, they put a strong showing on Dust2 and Overpass to defeat NRG. Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell and Josh "JBa" Barutt were the main responsibles for this reverse-sweep, as they combined for 72 frags on Dust2 and Overpass.

The winner of Thunderpick World Championship 2025 NA Series #2 will earn $20,000 and qualify for the Thunderpick World Championship 2025 Closed Qualifier in Europe. This event will run from September 7th to 9th and feature some of the top teams in the world.
