Squirtle Squad breathe sigh of relief after temporary L0NER ban
Jacob "L0NER" Webster of Squirtle Squad was briefly banned for account sharing on ESEA yesterday after being accused of playing for a different team in Intermediate at the same time as MDL. This also resulted in three matches of Squirtle Squad being overturned for the duration of ban.
The player who was accused of being L0NER was joseph of PURE. It is likely this is Joseph "joseph" Burkhart who played for and coached CheckSix in Season 27, although it is a different ESEA account.
Dust2.us has learned that the two individuals had played at the same LAN center recently, which caused a false positive to occur. The ban has since been removed and the match results restored.
Squirtle Squad recently lost a close game to The Pioneers last evening and are 5-5 in the MDL. They currently don't have any future matches scheduled, but are set to play FYB and Really Old People sometime later in the month.
