s1mple reveals he could've joined 100 Thieves alongside rain

During the StarLadder Budapest Major, Ukrainian superstar Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev revealed that he could've joined 100 Thieves alongside Håvard "rain" Nygaard, seeing the duo reunite after s1mple's stand-in period with FaZe this summer.

The move would've seen 100 Thieves' lock down two of Counter-Strike's most popular and pedigreed players, however s1mple said the discussions fell through due to timings not aligning for the various parties.

It is unknown how far these talks advanced before falling throug with 100 Thieves since reportedly pivoting to Astralis' Nicolai "device" Reedtz while BC.Game are currently in the midst of a mass overhaul that has seen them part ways with or bench Aleksandar "⁠CacaNito⁠" Kjulukoski, Nemanja "⁠nexa⁠" Isaković, and Luka "⁠emi⁠" Vuković in recent days.
