M80 promotes SyykoNT to COO

Don "SyykoNT" Muir has earned the spot of Chief Operating Officer at M80 after two successful years with the organization.

His previous role with the NA org was Vice President of Esports, where he recently had a hand in M80's run at the StarLadder Budapest Major and their win at the Rainbow 6 Munich Major.

SyykoNT rose to prominence in VALORANT, where he most notably was the head coach of XSET and Sentinels. Under SyykoNT's guidance, XSET placed top-8 at VALORANT Masters Copenhagen 2022 and top-6 at VALORANT Champions 2022.

SyykoNT signed with M80 in June of 2023, where he was reunited with Marco Mereu, whom he had worked with during his XSET days. SyykoNT's first move as VP of Esports was announcing M80's venture into Counter-Strike. In the two years since then, the CS division earned berths at both Counter-Strike 2 Majors in 2025 and cemented their place as one of the top teams in NA.

M80 will be looking to continue its momentum going into 2026, where they will want to put themselves in a postion to be a major player in the global CS2 scene.
