regain v. Phoenix was the third matchup in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5 quarter-finals.

regain handled Phoenix comfortably in two maps, booking their spot in the semi-finals. regain are the third of four teams to make the semi-finals in this edition of the Eagle Masters Series, joining Voca and SkinRave.

Phoenix picked Overpass to start the series, but it was regain that started strong on the CT side. regain won nine of the first ten rounds of the first half to propel themselves to a 9-3 lead at halftime. Phoenix began the second half with two rounds in a row, but regain kept them at arm's length, winning the map by a score of 13-6.

regain's pick was Inferno, where they enjoyed a fast start to the map once again. This time, they won five rounds in a row before Phoenix got on the board, but the result was the same, with regain holding a 9-3 lead at the interval. Phoenix started the second half with three round wins after conceding the pistol, but regain closed the map before they could get close, winning 13-6 again.

Kyryl "fuzenko" Kotov and Eric "Zucar" Zuccaro led the way for regain, dropping 38 and 37 frags, respectively.
