Leetify only found 12 Diamond coins from StarLadder Budapest, but Austin is still rarer
Diamond Pick'em coins remain exceedingly rare amongst players, even after the switches to both CS2 and the expanded stages.
Only a dozen users who connected their Steam accounts on the stat-tracking website Leetify managed to earn the Diamond coin, by completing all of the Pick'Em challenges across the three Swiss stages and playoffs, out of 40,450 total coins.
That's a rate of roughly 0.03% Diamond coins out of all players, which is still somehow even less rare than the 0.01% Diamond portion from the BLAST Austin Major. Leetify's highest Diamond percentage in recent memory was at Perfect World Shanghai, when it was 0.6%.
The Pick'Em challenge has gotten a bit harder since the switch from CS:GO to CS2. Instead of picking two 3-0 teams, two 0-3 teams, and six to "advance," players pick two 3-0 teams, two 0-3 teams, and six teams to go either 3-1 or 3-2. This took away the ability for players to get credit for picking a team to advance even if they went 3-0, thus making it harder to get the required number of correct predictions.
