Marsborne's Major chances take serious hit after opening loss at BetBoom Circuit X Mayhem
Marsborne were a longshot to make the Major in the Americas region, where they needed a flawless run at BetBoom Circuit X Mayhem to give themselves any chance at the IEM Cologne Major.
Their chances were quickly dashed at the Brazilian event, as they lost to Galorys and fell down the rankings on HLTV's Major invites predictions page.
Marsborne lost 22 points after their 2-1 loss v. Galorys and dropped to 17th in the Americas Major Invite prediction page, just behind Imperial.
Poor T sides were Marsborne's undoing in their first match, as they won just six attacking-side rounds in the series.
