Marsborne fall to ODDIK at FERJEE In House, putting Major hopes in miracle run at Circuit X Mayhem São Paulo
Marsborne have been eliminated from FERJEE In House 2026 following a rematch loss to ODDIK. With Marsborne exiting FERJEE In House 2026 in the group stage, their long-shot IEM Cologne Major hopes have been put in serious jeopardy and will now require a miracle run and perhaps a win at Circuit X Mayhem São Paulo next week if they want to have chance of qualifying for their first Major.
Marsborne's rematch against ODDIK ended up being a fairly disappointing affair, especially after their win over the Brazilian squad earlier in the event. Overpass began with Marsborne winning their CT-side pistol round and the following round before dropping the next six rounds to ODDIK. This culminated in Marsborne conceding the half 8-4. Heading onto T-side, Marsborne won the pistol round before losing the anti-eco round, setting the stage for ODDIK to run away with the half to quickly close out Overpass 13-6.
Moving onto Inferno, Marsborne started their T-side with their third pistol round of the series, going on to win three more rounds before ODDIK tied things up with four rounds of their own. Marsborne then went 3-1 in the final rounds of the half to secure a modest 7-5 lead at halftime. Unfortunately this lead quickly evaporated as ODDIK won their first pistol round of the series before winning five additional rounds in a row to climb up to an 11-7 scoreline. Marsborne would grab one more round before ODDIK won the map 13-8.
