ESEA S56 North American Finals reach top four
Twelve matches down, and only four teams are left in the ESEA S56 North American Finals. With the Advanced division teams entering the bracket last night for the quarterfinals, every team from the top division ended up winning their match.
The winners of tonight's semifinals will both secure a spot in ECL S51 Cup #4 and a chance to fight for the $15,000 first place prize.
EMPIRE 2-1 
ClayMakers
Due to a technical error from EMPIRE, they forfeited ClayMakers' Mirage pick. Fortunately, the issue was eventually resolved, and EMPIRE were allowed to play the remaining maps.
EMPIRE picked Inferno and started with a strong 4-0 lead. EMPIRE lost control to ClayMakers, but were still able to enter the second half tied 6-6. Another pistol win from EMPIRE helped start a nearly flawless CT-side that earned them a 13-7 victory.
Dust2 was the decider, and EMPIRE won the pistol again. The early half was back and forth, but EMPIRE eventually got a streak of rounds to end the first half up 8-4. After winning their fourth pistol and conversion, EMPIRE were up 10-4. ClayMakers won five rounds back, but EMPIRE eventually closed the map 13-9.

Fisher College 2-0 FarmVille
This quarterfinal started on FarmVille's pick of Anubis. Fisher had a dominant start as they went up 8-2 on their CT-side before losing the final two rounds. FarmVille got the second pistol and even tied the game 10-10, but Fisher still managed to close it out 13-10.
Fisher picked Ancient, but started down 1-3 after losing the pistol. They were more competitive in the rest of the half, but still trailed 5-7. FarmVille won the second pistol, but Fisher quickly responded with a five-round streak to take a 10-8 lead. After a back-and-forth remainder of the map, Fisher won 13-11.
