HEROIC eliminate Passion UA from ESL Pro League Season 23

HEROIC swept Passion UA out of ESL Pro League Season 23 in a 1-2 match. Passion weren't able to secure more than eight rounds in either of the maps against HEROIC.

Passion UA have lauded praise for their cohesion in their early days with Mongolian superstar Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold, but they were only able to secure a victory v. Liquid at EPL.

Overpass was the pick of Passion UA and the opening map of the series. Passion struggled on the difficult T side, falling 4-0 early on. Both sides traded rounds from there, with HEROIC's good start giving them an 8-4 lead at halftime. HEROIC didn't experience the same hardships on their T side, only conceding one round to win the map 13-5.

Passion UA had to fight with their backs against the wall on Nuke. HEROIC jumped out to an early 6-2 lead in their attacking half. Passion UA answered back to close the deficit to 7-5 at halftime. They kept that momentum to take an 8-7 lead at the beginning of the second half, but that was all the joy Passion would find. HEROIC finished with a bang to win 13-8 and eliminate Passion UA from ESL Pro League.

Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç was the man of the match as he dropped 36 frags and a 1.53 rating to put Passion away.
