The Polish sniper is looking for new opportunities

fr3nd enters free agency, open to IGL work

His time at Wildcard has come to a close.

On March 2nd, Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz announced he was officially a free agent after spending six months on the bench at Wildcard. A member of the original Wildcard Academy lineup, fr3nd was promoted to the main lineup on July 5th last year, after the benching of Love "phzy" Smidebrant. After two months of serviceable performances online, fr3nd was benched to make room for phzy's return after his brief loan to 9INE.

His time on the main Wildcard lineup came during an unfortunate period of instability for the roster. Between July and September, Wildcard made five roster changes before eventually finding a lineup to close out the year. fr3nd was in a difficult spot replacing arguably the team's best player, but he still managed to put up respectable performances. Throughout his two months on the team, he was the best-rated player with a 1.16 rating and a strong 1.27 K/D over 31 maps.

Despite that, the team were unable to find consistency or success in online NA events, and eventually removed fr3nd to reinstate phzy. fr3nd has been on the bench since then, but is now a free agent and looking for new opportunities. In the post confirming his free agent status, he wrote that he is open to the IGL role in addition to AWPing.
