Slugy's Clockwork top first Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #7 Open Qualifier!

Last weekend the first Open Qualifier for the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #7 was played out, seeing 16 teams compete for a spot in our second event of 2026! When the smoke cleared a surprising team came out on top of the event as Bradley "Slugy" Kohler's Clockwork stack managed to take down a number of well-known teams to secure a spot in the $10,000 event.

Clockwork's road to the finals saw them take down FRZ Unit 13-6 on Nuke before dismantling Chicken Coop 13-5 on Dust2. From there the team continued their winning ways against ClayMakers Reborn, besting Dmitrii "NIGHT666LADE" Botirov and co. 13-7 on Mirage as Slugy led the server with 23 kills.

In the finals the team faced off against MONEY CREW, striking the first blow by winning Nuke 16-13 before MONEY CREW answered backed with a 13=9 win on Mirage. With the series tied up, Clockwork were able to close things out with a 13-8 win on Dust2, with Sam "Noxio" Goodwin leading the server with 21 kills.
