Dust2.us announces revised schedule for Eagle Masters Series 8-11

Five extra days will help ease the scheduling burden for teams in our events.

Today we are announcing a series of scheduling changes for four of our Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series events, seeing Series 8-11 have their end dates pushed back by five days each. This change was made after careful consideration of the state of the NA Counter-Strike 2 ecosystem and conversations with teams regarding steps to ease the burden of competing in our events amidst a packed schedule.

Essentially, the change was made in order to give teams more flexibility to reschedule matches to avoid scheduling conflicts with other events as Dust2.us is committed to operating player-first events in a scene where other operators are imposing increasingly restrictive schedules on teams.

As such, Series 8-11 and their Open Qualifiers, will now run on the following dates:

  • Eagle Masters Series #8 - April 25th — June 19th (Swiss Stage starts May 25th)

  • Eagle Masters Series #9 - July 4th — August 28th (Swiss Stage starts Aug. 3rd)

  • Eagle Masters Series #10 - August 29th — October 23rd (Swiss Stage starts Sept. 28th)

  • Eagle Masters Series #11 - October 24th — December 18th (Swiss Stage starts Nov. 23rd)

Unfortunately this change was unable to be implemented for Series #7 due to Valve's TOR as we are past the announcement deadline for the event.

With this change, we expect our upcoming events over a similar amount of match days while ensuring that teams are not scrambling and sacrificing downtime, practice, and other events in order to compete in the Eagle Masters Series. Dust2.us is thankful for our partners at INUI for taking these changes in stride as both parties want to create events that best serve the NA scene.
