FaNg steps down from BOSS following poor start to 2026

Earlier today, Justin "FaNg" Coakley announced his decision to step down from BOSS following an extended period of under performance on the orgless squad. FaNg is the second player to leave BOSS in recent weeks following their decision to cut Gavin "Fruitcupx" Norman on February 16th amidst his own struggles to perform under the leadership of Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz.

FaNg's departure comes after a fairly disastrous end to February for BOSS, with the team failing to pick a single during European LAN tour while also having struggles at home as the team have continued to field Ben "ben1337" Smith while searching for Fruitcupx's replacement.

During this time FaNg has also struggled on an individual level, with the former NRG player sitting at an underwhelming 0.98 rating over 26 maps in 2026 while clearly struggling against top NA teams like Wildcard, Passion UA, and Voca.

With FaNg out of the picture, BOSS now have the difficult task of finding two riflers to rebuild their rifling core long after the winter shuffle, meaning most NA prospects have been scooped up by other teams.
