BOSS end European tour winless as team goes 0-5 at Parken Challenger Championship
BOSS' European tour has come to a disappointing end as the team bombed out of the Parken Challenger Championship earlier today, ending the Danish LAN with a 0-5 record after five straight Bo1 losses in the group stage. The last-place finish in Copenhagen immediately follows a similar result in Oslo, with BOSS going 0-3 at the De_Airport Masters LAN.

Brendan Williams had a standout performance on the map, posting a 1.45 rating while Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz ended the series with 22 kills.
On the other side of the coin, BOSS' worst result of the day was a 13-2 drubbing by 9INE with Ancient, with BOSS conceding their T-side 2-10 before giving up the map shortly thereafter. Compared to the later close game against Sashi, this map was a disaster class for Bwills as he ended the map with two kills.
Overall, it goes without saying that this has been a terrible week for BOSS as they failed to find any success after crowdfunding for a trip to Europe. The five losses in the Parken Challenger Championship especially hurt the team's VRS standing as they fell from #139 to #155 in the world, with a further decline likely after the conclusion of the event.
Particular attention and criticism has been heaped on the team for the decision to cut Gavin "Fruitcupx" Norma days before the European LANs, with coach stand-in Ben "ben1337" Smith clearly struggling on the server. He ended the Parken Challenger Championship with a 0.55 rating over five maps, with the team now heading home to lick their wounds and hopefully find a new fifth before the PGL Bucharest 2026: North American Qualifier on February 26th.
