Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 6 Day #17 recap: FarmVille take down Outfit 49 to make finals
The second semifinal of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 6 had FarmVille reverse sweep Outfit 49 after a close opening map that went into overtime. FarmVille will now face LAG in the Grand Final.
Outfit 49 started strong with Nazar "H0NeST" Stefinko leading Inferno's opening half, but FarmVille rebounded in the second to force overtime, where their CT side unfortunately ran out of steam. Outfit 49 would therefore take FarmVille's map pick 16-13.
Dust2 saw FarmVille take an 8-4 lead before dominating Outfit 49's defense with five consecutive rounds. Throughout the map, FarmVille showed prowess with their pistols, giving their opponents very few chances to steady their footing.
Overpass would be the decider, and Christopher "cJ dA K1nG" Jones wasted no time bulldozing Outfit 49 to a 10-2 lead off the back of 17 CT side frags. Outfit 49 would take the second pistol and threaten to resurge with five straight rounds. However, all FarmVille needed was three, and Brody "BeaKie" Kelly would help secure them as he finished the series with a team-high 1.35 rating.
